Way to crowded, we got the same day tickets for 2pm. The place was so crowded that it was shoulder to shoulder. The guards made me put my cane through a metal detector? I was like what the bleep. …Full review by Eric L

Extremely crowded, no way to enjoy. We even tried asking the gentleman at the info desk when the best time to visit was and he was a bit dismissive. There were throngs of students that made it impos…Full review by zemgirl

I went in september. not too hot not too cold. so i would pick a month either in spring or fall. Personally i would not drive. Parking is going to cost you. most hotel that have parking charge around $50 a day to park and driving around dc is a nightmare. i used uber to get around. I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol, 1225 First Street Ne, Washington DC, DC 20002-4274 Excellent hotel. Would stay there again. You don't need a guided tour at the holocaust museum. It is pretty self explanatory. It is four floors. I would recommend two days, two floors per day. If you go to Arlington National Cemetery, you can take the trolley around and they have a tour guide on the trolley that explains things. Food is expensive. $5.00 for a cup of hot tea. Hope this helps. Enjoy

Check the website. You can reserve tickets online, for a small fee, for the date and time you are interested in attending.

That I do not know. Your best bet would be to call the information line on the museum’s website. They are extremely kind and helpful.
