The Baseball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 was officially inducted at Cooperstown, New York on Sunday. Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia, Billy Wagner and the families of the late Dave Parker and Dick Allen gave speeches before they were honored with plaques commemorating their legendary baseball careers.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum officially welcomed five new members Sunday. This year's induction ceremony in Cooperstown, New York, honored the 2025 Hall of Fame class, led by the peerless Ichiro Suzuki.
Five new members are inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame during a weekend of festivities in Cooperstown, N.Y., on Sunday.
The 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony was scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET. But due to inclement weather expected between noon and 2 p.m., the start of the induction ceremony has been moved to 2:30 p.m. ET. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Cooperstown, New York, about a four-hour drive north of New York City.
Hall of Fame weekend is underway in Cooperstown and the big event will be the official induction of Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia, Billy Wagner, Dave Parker and Dick Allen in a ceremony on Sunday. A funny thing in reflecting on this class is there's excellent diversity.
