The 49ers opened their preseason with a 30-9 loss against the Denver Broncos from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. While there was some good and bad for the 49ers from the preseason opener, most fans just wanted a look at some of the fresh faces and for San Francisco to get out of the contest mostly in one piece.

The preseason is back, and the Denver Broncos pulled out a win against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night. While it was a rough game to start, that is part of the purpose of the preseason: to iron out any kinks while keeping an eye on growth and development.
