The annual four-day gathering, formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show, welcomed more than 4,300 exhibitors and 138,000 attendees last year. The first major tech event of 2025 is expected to have a strong Asian presence, including big names from South Korea and Japan.

Nvidia is kicking off CES with a big keynote next week, and everyone is pretty sure they know at least one thing that's going to be announced. When the PC hardware company takes the stage on Jan. 6, it's widely expected that Nvidia will lift the veil on the GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 appears to have leaked online, thanks to a couple of photos of the retail packaging for what appears to be an overclocked (OC) version of the card from one of Nvidia's third-party partners.
