FOX 13's Aaron Mesmer reports on what to expect ahead of Saturday's 2025 Gasparilla Children's Parade, which organizers said Friday will be bigger and better than ever.

The Gasparilla Children’s Parade will kick off a week of festivities on Saturday. It will be a fun-filled day as little pirates invade Bayshore. Along the street, seats, grandstands, and gates are already set up.

Families impacted by pediatric cancer will participate in the annual Children's Gasparilla Parade on Saturday. Caroline Wai and her family will join the Krewe of the Nautilus on a float. Other families with the 1Voice Foundation will also be on the float.

The city of Tampa has an interactive parking map that displays neighborhood parking for Children's Gasparilla. According to the city, "No Parking" and "Parking By Permit Only" signs will be posted and enforced Friday and Saturday beginning Jan. 17 at 12:01 a.m. - Jan. 18, and at this time, illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed.
