After his stellar first season in a Braves uniform, the Baseball Writers Association of America named Chris Sale as a finalist for the National League Cy Young Award.

Unlike last year’s Braves team, there won’t be as many award celebrations, but there will be one — Chris Sale winning his first Cy Young. Sale was named a finalist for the National League Cy Young Award on Monday.

Sure enough, the Triple Crown winners in the National League and American League -- Atlanta Braves left-hander Chris Sale and Detroit Tigers lefty Tarik Skubal, respectively -- were named finalists on Monday.
