A missing 12-year-old boy has been found dead in Virginia Beach three days after he disappeared while going to a friend's house.

Police said they have confirmed that a body pulled from a pond early Monday afternoon that matched the description of missing 12-year-old Juan Sebastian Mejia Acevedo is indeed, Acevedo.

Cops investigated the case as a possible abduction after the parents got a ransom message during a Facebook Live plea they made that night.
