ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- — Promising but far from perfect was rookie first-round draft pick Jaxson Dart’s assessment of making his preseason debut at quarterback in the New York Giants ' 34-25 win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Ty Johnson took over at running back for Ray Davis and he had three straight carries totaling 26 yards, while Reggie Gilliam caught a 19-yarder and Josh Palmer a 12-yarder before Knox got wide open on the left side and completed an 11-yard catch and run.
