HYDERABAD, India (AP) — Rain washed out Sunrisers Hyderabad’s slim chance of qualifying for the Indian Premier League playoffs on Monday. Captain Pat Cummins’ three-wicket burst with the new ball limited Delhi Capitals to 133-7 before heavy rain and the wet outfield denied further play.

Pat Cummins' figures of 3-19 went in vain after rain ended his and Sunrisers Hyderabad's chances of reaching the playoffs as their clash against Delhi Capitals was called off on Monday. The top four teams at the end of the league stage will move into the playoffs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad was eliminated from IPL 2025 playoff race after its home game against Delhi Capitals was washed out on Monday.
