Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says talks are underway with several countries about taking in Palestinians displaced by the war in Gaza.

At least 20 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to local medical sources. Seven people were killed north-west of Gaza City at a humanitarian aid distribution site.

Netanyahu wants to realize US President Trump’s vision of relocating much of Gaza’s population of over 2 million people through what he refers to as “voluntary migration” — and what critics have warned could be ethnic cleansing.
