Intel stock jumps after JD Vance's speech supporting U.S.-made AI
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) stock rose sharply Tuesday in lieu of comments from U.S. Vice President JD Vance about U.S. manufacturing of AI chips. At 12:35PM ET, shares of Intel were up 7.5%. Vance delivered a keynote speech at the 2025 Paris Artificial Intelligence Action (WA:ACT) Summit early Tuesday.
