House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) laid out an ambitious timeline to pass a massive budget reconciliation bill later this year comprising all of President-elect Donald Trump’s biggest priorities into a single package.

Johnson, a Republican from north Louisiana, is pushing a single bill using a parliamentary maneuver called “budget reconciliation,” challenging the two-bill strategy pursued by a pair of Senate Republicans, Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota, and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

Majority Whip John Barrasso said Republicans would soon meet with President-elect Donald Trump to “talk about what he’d like to have done.”
