Jordan's King Abdullah discussed on Wednesday "dangerous developments" in Gaza and the West Bank during a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, according to a post on X by the Jordanian royal court.

Like most of President Donald Trump’s meetings these days, Tuesday’s talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II will revolve around making a deal — at least in the president’s mind.

King Abdullah of Jordan has rejected Donald Trump's plan to resettle Palestinians in the kingdom. Following a meeting with Trump at the White House on Tuesday, Abdullah wrote on X that Jordan remained "steadfast" against "the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. This is the unified Arab position."
