The Louisiana LNG development is set to enhance Woodside's global LNG portfolio to approximately 24mtpa in the 2030s, accounting for more than 5% of the worldwide LNG supply.

(Reuters) -Australian oil and gas major Woodside Energy said on Wednesday it had signed a supply deal with BP, under which the British energy giant would supply natural gas to its Louisiana liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.

Woodside Energy (NYSE:WDS) is involved in intensive discussions with "a couple of parties" interested in participating in its just-approved $17.5B Louisiana LNG gas export project, CEO Meg O’Neill said Tuesday.
