Tesla has reportedly received 50,000 orders for the new Model Y with an updated design in about 24 hours, according to a new report in China. Last week, Tesla unveiled the mid-cycle refresh of the Model Y in China and a select few markets supplied by Tesla’s factory in Shanghai.

Now, with the new Model Y in China, Tesla has launched a new color called “Glacier Blue”: It is a much lighter blue than Tesla’s ‘deep blue metallic’ currently offered on vehicles outside of China. But it has now been spotted coming out of Tesla’s factory in Shanghai, and it looks even lighter than on the configurator renders (via xiaoteshushu ):

The Tesla Model Y facelift has gone on sale in select Asian countries and special administrative regions, bringing updates to every aspect, especially the range: 719km (CLTC estimate). The Australia and New Zealand Tesla websites show the facelifted EV as well.
