Court proceedings involving charges from a fatal crash into a Berlin Township clubhouse during a child's birthday party will remain in Monroe County. A change in venue request was denied Friday during a pretrial hearing held with Monroe County Circuit Court Judge Daniel White.

Judge Daniel White denied a request to relocate Marshella Chidester's trial, accused of driving under influence causing two deaths, despite concerns about impartiality due to media coverage in Monroe County.

A judge ruled that the trial for a Monroe County woman who allegedly crashed into a child’s birthday party while drunk will not be moved.
