Manny Machado homered in the first inning and hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in a four-run seventh for the San Diego Padres, who rallied past the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-4 to take two of three games in their series.

“The quality of at-bats in the seventh was unbelievable,” Padres manager Mike Shildt said.
