A missing man's body was recovered after his boat tipped over while on the Schuylkill River in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

A body of a man was recovered early Monday afternoon from the Schuylkill near where a boater went missing Sunday night in Montgomery County, officials said. The body was recovered from the river around 12:15 p.m. Monday in Pottstown, said Mike Parker, spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

POTTSTOWN — Officials have confirmed the discovery of a body in the Schuylkill River near the Keim Street bridge between Pottstown and North Coventry. Montgomery County Coroner Janine Darby said the body was of a white male and that her office has a “possible ID,” but must confirm it and contact the deceased’s family before releasing it.
