ROSS COUNTY — Authorities have identified the inmate involved in the assault that led to the death of a correction officer at Ross Correctional Institution on Christmas. The inmate was identified as Rashawn Cannon, according to CBS affiliate WBNS.

An Ohio prison guard is dead after being assaulted by an inmate on Christmas Day, authorities said.
