The White House has moved aggressively to withdraw various protections that have allowed immigrants to remain in the country.

A federal judge recently blocked the Trump administration from removing migration protections for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan migrants, who would have lost the protections in early April if the judge did not step in.

Venezuelan nationals sued the Trump administration earlier this year for abruptly terminating Temporary Protected Status protections, which allowed them to live and work legally in the U.S.
