White House launching review of Smithsonian museums to "ensure alignment" with Trump's plans
The White House says it will review some of the best-known Smithsonian museums to root out "divisive or ideologically driven language."
The new push focuses on temporary, emergency shelters rather than lasting supports and would cut people off services after two years.
According to the White House the project will cost about $200 million, to be funded by Trump personally and other donors.
The White House celebrated the changes as a milestone in its effort to overhaul and simplify the rules surrounding federal buying.
