John Cena looks back on his most interesting feuds and how a good rivalry can be like a good film collaboration.

Saturday night in St. Louis was about giving one final quality showing between John Cena and Randy Orton and advance WWE’s stories toward a busy summer with three PLEs — including a two-night SummerSlam — a “Saturday Night’s Main Event” and “World’s Collide” with newly acquired AAA.

There was a spot at WWE Backlash earlier this month where McIntyre’s head hit the floor when he was given a South of Heaven chokeslam by Damian Priest from a production area through a table. McIntyre was evaluated by the medical team backstage after the match but was not seriously injured.

An Undisputed WWE Championship match between John Cena and Randy Orton secures top billing. Ever since Cena captured the gold from Cody Rhodes at "WrestleMania 41," Orton has been haunting his longtime nemesis. Cena has been on the receiving end of three RKOs in the lead-up to "Backlash," and he'll look to avoid Orton's legendary move on Saturday.

Pat McAfee took quite the beating on Saturday night. The divisive sports media enigma has already shown an ability to excel in a WWE ring, but his return to action at Backlash 2025, weeks after WrestleMania 41, left the “Raw” commentator licking his wounds.

Pro wrestling star Jeff Cobb bursted onto the WWE scene on Saturday, taking out LA Knight and helping Jacob Fatu retained the United States Championship.
