After losing Super Bowl LV to the Buccaneers, the Chiefs went on to lose at home in the AFC Championship game to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021.

The last Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Eagles was a back-and-forth affair.

The viewership total was slightly higher than last year’s Chiefs victory over the San Francisco 49ers. According to Nielsen, last year’s 123.7 million viewers were collected across CBS, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, CBS Sports, and the same NFL digital properties.
