U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that a trade deal with Indonesia was reached to set 19% tariffs on its U.S. exports.

Indonesia also has agreed to purchase billions in U.S. energy, agriculture products and airplanes, Trump said July 15 in a social media post.

Donald Trump has said the US has reached a trade deal with Indonesia that will result in the south-east Asian nation paying a 19 per cent tariff on its exports to the US and buying American energy and Boeing jets.
