The United States Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, sustained some damage during Iran’s latest overnight missile strikes on the Jewish nation. U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee announced early Monday morning that the embassy suffered “minor damage” after an Iranian missile landed close to the building.

Iran launched a wave of missiles at Israel hours after the Israeli Defense Forces said it was striking surface-to-surface missile sites in central Iran.

President Trump acknowledged on Thursday that there was a significant risk that Israel could soon attack Iran, but he said that “I don’t want them going in” while some progress was still possible on an agreement to shut down Iran’s easiest pathway to building a nuclear weapon.
