It was a married couple who discovered remains that authorities believe were a man who opened fire on a Kentucky highway.

Human remains found in Kentucky have been positively identified as the man who shot 12 vehicles and wounded five people on Interstate 75 recently.

An initial DNA test on remains believed to be that of alleged I-75 shooter Joseph Couch was inconclusive, but a self-inflicted gunshot was the cause of death.
