Morris, an alligator who appeared in numerous films and television shows, most notably in the movie “Happy Gilmore,” died on Monday in Mosca, Colo.

An alligator that appeared in numerous TV shows and films over three decades, most notably the 1996 Adam Sandler comedy “Happy Gilmore,” has died at a gator farm in southern Colorado.

Adam Sandler’s golf champ will return after nearly a 30-year break in Happy Gilmore 2, which is slated to begin streaming on Netflix on July 25.
