Hundreds of attendees for Sun's fourth annual NetBeans Day in San Francisco will get a glimpse of the future of NetBeans today as Sun shows off the latest preview release of NetBeans 6.0.

On Tuesday Oracle announced the release of a new version of its NetBeans IDE, 8.0, that takes advantage of the latest enhancements in Java SE 8, among other changes.

With the source code written, the JUnit-based unit tests written, and the NetBeans Java Application project set up as shown above, it is almost trivial to run the unit tests.
