The Jets topped the Green Bay Packers in their 2025 NFL preseason opener to the tune of a 30-10 final. Fields only played one series but made it count. He was 3-for-4 passing for 42 yards. He rushed in a touchdown to cap the drive. Head coach Aaron Glenn was left impressed.

Jets (new) coach Aaron Glenn made his unofficial debut on Saturday night, and Glenn has to feel good about the tone his group set with most of the key names, including starting quarterback Justin Fields, taking the field for the first preseason game of a new era.

The Jets are quite thin at the WR position behind Wilson, and counted on Lazard bouncing back from a pair of subpar seasons in New York. He caught the two passes thrown his way against the Packers, his former team, and is a valuable run blocker, which should be even more important this season.
