On April 26, the Packers picked Longhorns edge rusher Barryn Sorrell with their first pick on the third day of the 2025 NFL Draft. And Sorrell was surprisingly in attendance and made the most of the moment. Sorrell and the fans loved every minute of it.

The Texas defensive end had been in Green Bay since Wednesday and sat in the green room alone before getting picked.

Sorrell first started to seriously appear on my radar when fellow Green Bay Packers writer Ross Uglem, the week of the draft, began to tweet out clips of Sorrell’s film. Clearly, the kid could play.
