The Anaheim Ducks signed a contract extension with their goalie, Ville Husso. This comes right after the team dealt John Gibson to Detroit.

The Detroit Red Wings hope they shored up their goaltending by acquiring John Gibson Saturday from the Anaheim Ducks for goalie Petr Mrazek and a pair of draft picks. Gibson, 31, has two years remaining on his contract at a $6.4 million average annual value.
