Over a dozen protesters were arraigned in court Friday after a clash with police led to arrests during a protest on the Roebling Bridge.

The protest was held in support of Imam Ayman Soliman, an Egyptian immigrant and Cincinnati Children's chaplain who was detained by ICE.

All those arrested, including two City Beat journalists, are facing felony charges of riot in the first degree. Typically, protests result in misdemeanor charges. Video footage showed the gathering turning from peaceful to chaotic as protesters blocked the travel lanes of the suspension bridge.
