Testimony in the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking trial has opened a window into what prosecutors say was the sordid world of group sex, drugs and violence beneath his glittering, jet-set persona.

Regina Ventura, the mother of Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura Fine, told the court on May 20 she was "physically sick" over the rapper's alleged abuse and said she was once pressured to send him $20,000 after he raged at her daughter. "I was scared for my daughter’s safety," Ventura told jurors.

Diddy's trial is recapped on Day 7, which saw Cassie Ventura's mom testify about a payment around a sex tape. A male escort also took the stand.
