Texas Southern University is asking lawmakers for $120 million to replace its law school building after the organization that sets standards for law schools deemed it unsafe and ill-suited to serve students with disabilities.

A news release issued by Southern University announced Friday that the U.S. Marshals took Semaj Joiner, who was identified as a suspect in the shooting, into custody in Texas on Thursday.

The man last known to be seen with a University of Pittsburgh student before she vanished from a beach in the Dominican Republic gave more details to local prosecutors about the last time he saw her,

Semaj Joiner was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Forth Worth, Texas on Thursday, nearly two weeks after the shooting.
