Other names set to appear in Vought Rising as series regulars include KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith. Aya Cash is also set to star alongside Ackles by returning as Season 2’s Nazi supervillain, Stormfront. Additional details on The Boys prequel, including its release date, have not been announced.

The Boys creator Eric Kripke announced the spin-off at San Diego Comic Con 2024, describing it as a "twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought."
