Back in July 2024, Lightrun announced a new AI-based debugging tool to use within organizations’ integrated developer environments (IDEs), appropriately called the Runtime Autonomous AI Debugger.

Google's Bard AI chatbot is now able to help users with programming, including generating code, debugging and code explanation.

To note, ChatGPT has the ability to write and improve existing code in several programming languages, as well, so Google giving Bard the capability is perhaps inevitable.
