The latest limited-edition release for Ping's PLD Anser Patent 55 comes in an eye-catching stainless steel.

This week at the Players Championship, Ping staffers will be using special edition PLD staff bags to mark the launch of the 2024 PLD putters.

The fourth and final putter in the Ping Slam Limited Edition family will be made available on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, and it commemorates Seve Ballesteros’s 1988 British Open victory.

While the original Anser putters were cast, these models are CNC-milled from a solid block of stainless steel. The next PLD Anser Patent 55 will be machined from copper and will launch on Sept. 26.
