The font, John Handy, is based on the designer’s own handwriting. This font, called English Script, is an example of a modern font created after 18th-century English copperplate engravings.

A new digital typeface called Script might change all of that. Created by Adrian and Jeremy Wright of Design Wright for Lexon, it’s a segmented LED display for type snobs.
