Years ago, Phoenix Mercury guard Natasha Cloud began to hear about rumblings of a basketball league. That league would become Unrivaled. The 3×3 league, put together by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart has been the talk of the WNBA offseason.

The night will usher in a new era of professional women's basketball, with Unrivaled offering WNBA stars a chance to stay at home during the offseason and take ownership in a league of their own making.

Unrivaled is set to begin its inaugural 2025 season. Here's how to watch the first game of the year with TV information and start time.

Unrivaled, co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, tips off on Friday night on TNT, and will feature 36 WNBA stars, including Angel Reese, Arike Ogunbowale, and others. Each of the league’s six teams includes six players, but they were down to just five active players given Mabrey’s injury.

The league will officially begin play on Friday, Jan. 18. The first game will be Collier's Lunar Owls BC against Stewart's Mist BC. It will start at 6 p.m. CT, followed by a second game at 7 p.m. CT. The Finals are scheduled to take place on Monday, March 17. The entire league season will be broadcast on TNT. TruTV and Max.
