Assuming anyone on the Red Sox knows who Evanescence is or remembers that month when the band was everywhere. Boston is heading south for a three-game series with the Atlanta Braves, one of the other teams suffering this season from a failure to meet expectations.

With an ugly month of May in the books, the Red Sox can open June with a series win in Sunday’s finale in Atlanta. Garrett Crochet will be tasked with closing out the series for Boston. The big lefthander has been a rare bright spot for the Sox rotation, with Crochet’s 2.04 ERA ranking sixth in the American League.
