OpenAI just dropped a pretty big upgrade for ChatGPT, and it’s less “AI chatbot” and more “AI app store inside a chat window.

With its new Apps SDK built on the Model Context Protocol, developers can build data-connected apps that live within ChatGPT.

OpenAI is now letting users work with third-party apps and complete certain tasks without leaving ChatGPT’s interface.
