The Dallas Cowboys will not be hiring Jason Witten as part of their 2025 coaching staff, according to owner Jerry Jones. “Certainly, Jason is an outstanding coach,” Jones said of Witten, via ProFootballTalk.

Witten’s name has been involved in the Cowboys 2025 offseason search for a new head coach to replace Mike McCarthy, some even saying he’s a genuine candidate. To what extent Witten’s been involved with the open position is still up in the air.
