One of Kurosawa's best films is Throne of Blood, a Shakespearean drama that also happens to be an underrated supernatural thriller.

Denzel Wasington and Spike Lee's latest joint is officially one of their best, with Highest 2 Lowest reaching a sky-high Rotten Tomatoes score.

"He was in his 80s, but he had more energy than I that day," the filmmaker says of the legendary musician, who died Aug. 6 at 88.
