The company posted its Q4 2024 quarterly earnings results this week, which rounded out another strong quarter for its Amazon Web Services (AWS) division. AWS sales increased 19 percent year-over-year to $28.8 billion across Q4. Operating income for the unit was $10.6 billion, compared with $7.2 billion in Q4 2023.

Amazon Web Services, which provides server infrastructure for countless games, websites, and streaming services, brought in $28.8 billion in revenue, accounting for a solid chunk of the company’s overall $187.8 billion for the quarter.
