The Army will celebrate its 250th anniversary with a parade on Saturday, which happens to be President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.

The parade and festival, coinciding with Trump’s birthday and Flag Day, will last nearly sun-up to sun-down. Here's a full schedule of the day's events.

As a military parade rolls through Washington, DC, on Saturday – President Donald Trump’s birthday – millions of Americans are expected to protest in what organizers predict will be the strongest display of opposition to Trump’s administration since he took office in January.

The largest is expected to take place in Portland, where at least five separate demonstrations are planned in and outside of downtown. Two downtown events will happen on Naito Parkway. One will gather at the Salmon Street Springs and another will form at the Battleship Oregon Memorial in Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

On Saturday, for the first time in more than 30 years, the U.S. military is holding a big parade. The event is intended to celebrate the 250th birthday of the Army and to remind Americans of their debt to men and women in uniform.
