Thousands of protesters have gathered in Thailand’s capital demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

The political turmoil set off by a leaked phone conversation shows no sign of easing, in a country where demonstrations have helped oust governments before.

Over 10,000 people took to the streets of Bangkok to stage a protest, demanding the resignation of Thailand’s Prime Minister Shinawatra after a phone call of her speaking to a former Cambodian leader was leaked amid the border dispute.
