Floyd will first be seen in the role — for which Flynn has received three Daytime Emmy nominations — on April 21, 2026

Yesterday, it was announced that The Young and the Restless' Conner Floyd (Chance) was signing on to Days of Our Lives as Chad DiMera, and he would premiere in early 2026. Now, People has Conner-as-Chad's exact debut date.

The Peacock soap is bringing aboard Conner Floyd to take over the role previously played by Billy Flynn. Floyd, last seen as Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV on The Young and the Restless, begins work June 23 on the sudser. Given how far ahead DOOL films, however, fans won’t be able to enjoy the new Chad until April of 2026.
