The newest addition to the wide receiver room in Dallas, George Pickens, reveals when he found out he was traded to the Cowboys.

Pickens' time with the Steelers was marred by what were described as "maturity and accountability" issues, collecting over $200,000 in NFL and team fines in 2024 alone. Multiple reports out of Pittsburgh said head coach Mike Tomlin had to publicly reprimand Pickens more than once.

Pickens, who was traded to the Cowboys on Wednesday in exchange for a package including a 2026 third-round pick, spoke to the Dallas media about his new teammates on a Thursday conference call. Pickens told reporters that Prescott was one of the first people who reached out to him following the trade, per ESPN's Todd Archer.
