The Dallas Stars are set to face the Winnipeg Jets in the second round of the NHL Playoffs starting May 7.The Stars advanced to the second round of the NHL playoffs after beating the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 in Game 7 on May 3.

There was that natural inclination for Dallas Stars coach Pete DeBoer to start paying more attention to St. Louis while watching the game that would determine who his team would play next in the NHL playoffs. But he never really started preparing for the Blues, even as they had a multigoal lead over Winnipeg much of that game.

The Dallas Stars won a wild, frantic Game 7 thanks to a crazy comeback and a 4-goal third period. The Stars eliminated the rival Avalanche and move on to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Check out our wrap-up of the Stars-Avs series below.
