Atlanta Falcons quarterback Easton Stick rebounded with a long touchdown pass to receiver Chris Blair on Friday night after a rough first half.

Falcons rookie running back Nathan Carter's attempt to leap over Lions safety Morice Norris in Atlanta's first preseason game went awry when his knee collided with Norris's helmet on a run early in the fourth quarter.

One week after a collision he was involved in caused a game-ending injury, Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Nathan Carter said knowing that the Lions' Morice Norris was doing better made it easier for him to take the field Friday night and carry the ball without being tentative.
